Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is getting a major spring update with balance improvements, bug fixes, and new content available on April 11. On top of all that, it also has a new event to celebrate this season of the year called Spicy Expeditions.
Some of the fixes and features implemented are: there has been an update to unit balance, all trees have been replaced with visually smaller versions. Inactive economic unit indicators have also been added, along with bug fixes and improvements requested by the community.
As mentioned earlier, this expansion includes a new event, Spicy Expeditions. In it, merchants will have at their disposal great rewards that come from distant lands. By completing the challenges, players will unlock these rewards, such as saffron fields, hot peppers, or colorful shops to decorate the town center.
