A trailer for MindsEye, part of the ambitious Everywhere project by Build a Rocket Boy, a studio founded by the former Rockstar North boss, has surfaced online. It will be a full-fledged AAA game…within another AAA game.

Project Everywhere was revealed in 2017, when it was started by former Rockstar North boss Leslie Benzies. For a long time, the public did not receive any updates on the status of the title, but today we finally learned a few more details.

A preview of MindsEye (available below) has hit the web, which, despite being a separate title, will be closely tied to Everywhere. So close that it is described as a “game within a game”.

Everywhere and MindsEye

What does this enigmatic statement mean? Everywhere describes itself as “a new platform that offers a world of endless possibilities where you can be whoever you want and go your own way” (via VGC). MindsEye, in turn, will be available within it, though it will still be a separate title, so to speak.

Studio Build a Rocket Boy describes the project as a “story-driven, futuristic AAA action-adventure game” set “in a world of futuristic corporations, conspiracy theories and sinister new technologies”. The game fragments in the video below recall associations with Grand Theft Auto – we see third-person shooting, driving cars or flying drones. By the way, Leslie Benzies himself previously suggested creating a rival for the hit Rockstar series.

how Everywhere The game map itself will be divided into separate “worlds” representing different game genres.. The central hub will be the city of Utopia with its surrounding biomes, where players will have access to different districts, each “offering different gameplay experiences and crafting options”, such as races or TPP battles. The tools will be available for players to create their own game and share it with the community.

Everywhere (as well as MindsEye) is still in development and release date remains unknown. However, the developers suggest that players will be able to test the project in some form before the end of this year.

He played in various bands during his high school and college years, but was not successful with any of them, however, he partly earns his living through music; unfortunately he plays pot music at weddings. He studied journalism and took his first steps in radio, but he did not stay there long, preferring to look for something else. He held various jobs, often unrelated to his profession; for several years he was even a bartender. He arrived at GlobeLiveMedia in December 2020 and since then has been a loyal Newsroom Padawan, although he also worked with Friendly Fire, where he was in charge of their TikTok.
