Sony’s potential new product for PS5 would offer gamers a comfortable way to immerse themselves in their games. Wireless headsets have become increasingly popular as a portable and flexible way for users to listen to their games and music.

Products like Apple’s AirPods have enjoyed universal popularity for their ease of access and the portable nature of audio devices. And several video game companies have even tried to jump on the bandwagon for wireless headphones, with companies like Razer developing noise-canceling headphones.

Now, a recent rumor suggests that Sony is developing a wireless in-ear headset aimed at PS5 gamers, as a leak from Tom Henderson revealed that Sony is working on a wireless headset for PS5.

Sony would develop “headphone” type headphones for PS5

Dubbed “Project Nomad”, the headphones are said to have a battery life of around five hours, comparable to Apple’s AirPods. The leak claims that Sony’s new headphones will go on sale in fiscal year 2023, between April 2023 and March 2024. Sony has not made any official announcements regarding the release of new audio devices for PS5.
