You have probably heard of the survival horror game. children of the forest So far, it’s been getting a lot of attention since its PC early access release in late February, and it’s possible we’ll see it on Xbox in the future.

Playing alone or with friends as you fight to survive crafting, building, battling and more, the game has already garnered over 60,000 reviews on Steam with an average rating of “Very Positive”.

And speaking to GamingBolt recently, developer Endnight Games had this to say:

“We’d love to come to console in the future, but right now we’re focused on providing the best possible experience for PC gamers.”

The immense success the game has already achieved on PC means that those console wishes are sure to come true for Endnight Games, but as mentioned, PC is definitely the focus at the moment. Sons of the Forest is still in an early access state and will remain so for at least six to eight months.

In the meantime, it might be best to pick up the game for PC (if you have the option), but it looks pretty promising that we’ll play it on Xbox at some point in the future. Maybe a 2024 version? We will cross our fingers…
