Skelattack Switch Physical Version Detailed, Including Collector’s Edition

Limited Run Games has provided more information about their physical version of Skelattack for Switch, including a collector’s edition. It was originally announced last June, but details weren’t shared at the time.
A standard version and a collector’s edition, technically called Classic Edition, are planned. The latter includes the game, soundtrack, retro cover and poster in a classic silver Konami box.

Being dead isn’t so bad when you have Hell to live in. A vast and magical world inhabited by quirky, charming, and sometimes deadly inhabitants of the afterlife, the Underworld also includes Aftervale. Aftervale is a happy hub where the dead come to spend eternity and accept their time alive through a memory.
For our hero Skully, his Memorial Day is interrupted by an invasion of the human realm from above. Unlike previous attacks by humans, however, they are not looking for gold or other treasure. Instead, they kidnap Aftervale’s former skeleton, Elzedon, and then tackle the magic that ignites the spirits of the dead, the Blue Flame. Without the Blue Flame, there is no Aftervale, there is no existence beyond death.
With your best bat friend, Imber, you must jump, carve and fight your way through the underworld. It’s up to you to stop the humans, save the Ancient One, protect the Blue Flame, and face Skully’s own life before reaching Aftervale.
