Ember Sword announces plans to run an open alpha playtest for its fantasy adventure MMO. Players will have the opportunity to try out some initial missions, explore the game world, and provide valuable feedback to the development team. Interested players need only create an account on the Ember Sword website to participate!
Ember Sword is preparing to reveal its world to a wider audience with an open alpha test in April! No tokens or NFT properties are required for this alpha release. Players simply need to create an account on the Ember Sword website.
Ember Sword Open Alpha Test
This playtest will be limited: it will only be open on April 18 and 19, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. CEST to 11:59 p.m. CEST every day. Players will be placed in a queue to join when play opens and will be allowed entry on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, each player is limited to 30 minutes of play time so that other players have a chance to test the alpha.
The team promises a series of five missions for this alpha, each previewing a different part of the game. The missions provide an introduction to the game and include PvE combat, resource gathering, crafting, puzzle solving, and a PvP arena. Players will also have the opportunity to explore the open game world, fight enemies and discover secrets and hidden areas!
The Ember Sword team is very interested in player feedback on this alpha test and will post a link to a feedback form later. As an added incentive, participants who complete the feedback form have a chance to win an Ember Sword Merchandise Pack.

What is Ember Sword?
Ember Sword is a free-to-play, open-world fantasy game currently in development. Ember Sword offers PvP in outlaw zones, as well as PvE options, including multiplayer dungeons. The game promises an MMORPG experience with national resources, a caravan system for transport, collectibles, cosmetic items and much more! The game also features a land ownership system where plots of land exist as NFTs. Land owners can upgrade their land and earn income when players visit.
Most in-game items that provide bonuses to players will not be NFT. However, all cosmetic collectibles will be released as a limited edition and will also have historical records of their usage and ownership, making each one truly unique! The game works on a classless leveling system. Skills increase the more you use them, unlocking new skills along the way, allowing players to choose their own path based on their playstyle.
Ember Sword plans to launch its own token, Ember. Ember will live on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token and will be used for market transactions, to purchase limited-use consumables, or to pay for subscription services. Although Ember Sword is free, they plan to offer benefits for those who are willing to pay a subscription. This could include things like extra bank slots, exclusive titles, and collectible airdrops.
