Developer Frogwares has announced that their upcoming Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened The new version will officially land on Xbox in April! 2023’s “The Awakened” is a complete overhaul of the studio’s original 2007 release, available on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on April 11.
The team says the game has also gone gold, after months of uncertainty for the Ukrainian developer due to the country’s ongoing war with neighboring Russia.
As for the nature of the release itself, this Unreal Engine 4-based remake comes across as a budget title on all platforms. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will cost $39.99 while a deluxe version with various DLC shards will cost an additional $10.

“Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is a detective horror adventure between Cthulhu and Sherlock Holmes. The game acts as a continuation of Sherlock’s young story with Holmes and Watson pursuing their first major case together.
A sect obsessed with the god Eldritch struggles in the shadows to fulfill a prophecy that will change the world and it’s up to the young detective duo to thwart their plans.
