exciting news, sea of thieves Fans! A “Deluxe Edition” of the game was released today, including on Xbox Game Pass, celebrating five years of its existence. It is now available on the Xbox Store.
In the store it is actually called now “Sea of Thieves 2023 Edition“, and the difference between this and the previous one is that you now get a “deluxe content pack containing an additional variety of cosmetics and currencies”.
Here’s a bit more about it:
Celebrate five years since the release of Sea of Thieves with this special edition of the game, which includes a copy of Sea of Thieves with all permanent content added since launch, plus a bonus 10,000 coins gold and a selection of Hunter cosmetics. The Hunter Cutlass, pistol, compass, hat, jacket and veils will ensure you look great as you embark on your adventure.”
So it’s not a massive update or anything, but it’s still nice to see Sea of Thieves getting a new release on Xbox Game Pass with some added extras. You can check out the new trailer above.
