Just one year after its original release, Sonic Origins will have an updated version called Sonic Origins Plus. The stock has been rated by the Korean rating agency, but no details on an official announcement of it have been released yet.

But this morning Comicbook.com published a news (now deleted, although the information was saved by Gonintendo in time) in which the launch of this new version would be confirmed with 12 of classic Sonic titles which appeared for the Game Gear console on next June 23the birthday of Sonic. The date was used precisely last year for the launch of the first version.
This plus version can be purchased as an upgrade for 9.99 euros if you already own the original, or as a new edition for 39.99 euros. In addition, there will be a physical edition (again, for the moment not officially confirmed) which will contain: the game with the 12 classic titles, the playable character of Amy in onic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, y Sonic CD, joins as a playable character on Sonic CD as well, all DLC released to date, a 20-page art book and a reversible sleeve with never-before-seen artwork.
Hopefully Sega confirms this information soon, which would make a great gift to celebrate Sonic’s birthday this year.
