According to a well-known industry insider, two episodes of the Metroid Prime series, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes there Metroid Prime 3: Corruptionthey could reach nintendo switch.

The news came after the sudden release of Metroid Prime Remastered on the Nintendo eShop immediately after the Nintendo Direct aired on Wednesday, February 8.

Immediately after it aired, gamers flocked to the Nintendo eShop to purchase and download the remaster of the 2002 GameCube classic. The physical edition will be available next Wednesday, February 22, although initial orders for Metroid Prime Remastered will sell out in several stores.

After the first Metroid game, famed bounty hunter Samus Aran receives a distress signal from a space pirate ship and, encountering Meta Ridley aboard the ship, pursues it to the planet Tallon IV, where most of the game.

Now, industry insider Jeff Grubb has confirmed on Twitter that if Nintendo were to release Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on the Switch, those games wouldn’t get the same treatment as the recent Metroid Prime Remastered.

Grubb’s tweet was a quote in response to a question from another user. However, Grubb’s answer would imply that the two Metroid Prime games in question would be direct ports, not remasters. So that means a graphical update similar to Metroid Prime Remastered would be highly unlikely.
