Retailers in the European Union are dropping the price of the RTX 4070 due to sluggish sales of the new graphics card. A German retailer has dropped the price of the GPU below €600, according to the Wccftech report.
There are a number of reasons for this stagnation, but it appears that, as is the case with the 40 series in general, there isn’t much current demand for the 4070. improve over the older 3080 series, there still doesn’t seem to be enough power on this GPU to drain like Nvidia’s previous generation did.
Pricing in the US remains stable, but if Nvidia is looking to sell the 4070 along with previous cards of similar performance, another price drop may be needed before consumers consider getting started.
