Predicting that sooner or later new graphics cards will appear – and that they will be very expensive and very poorly available – is no great feat.
The situation on the graphics card market is and will remain very tense, which is unlikely to change in the coming weeks and months. Nevertheless, there are indications that Nvidia is planning to release two new RTX graphics cards relatively soon.
Which graphics cards are you talking about? After the RTX 3060 Ti, the higher GPU series will also get a Ti variant, more precisely the RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3070 Ti. The former would be between RTX 3090 and RTX 3080, the latter between RTX 3080 and RTX 3070.
How fast will the new Ti models be?
In our current benchmarks, which you can find in the test linked below, the gap between the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3070 at around 35 percent in 4K is clearly larger than the gap between the RTX 3090 and the RTX 3080 (approx. Twelve percent). The technical data published by Videocardz do not really match.
RX 6700 XT in the test – benchmarks against RTX 3070 and 3060 Ti
If they are correct, the RTX 3070 Ti would only differ very slightly from the RTX 3070, while the RTX 3080 Ti has more significant differences to the RTX 3080:
Advantages of the RTX 3080 Ti compared to the RTX 3080 *:
- slightly more video memory (12.0 GB instead of 10.0 GB)
- more shader units (10,240 instead of 8,704)
- more ray tracing and tensor cores (80/320 instead of 68/272)
- higher memory bandwidth (864 GByte / s instead of 760 GByte / s)
Advantages of the RTX 3070 Ti compared to the RTX 3070 *:
- slightly more shader units (6,144 instead of 5,888)
- slightly more ray tracing and tensor cores (48/192 instead of 46/184)
- faster memory (8.0 GB GDDR6X instead of 8.0 GB GDDR6)

When should the tickets come?
According to Videocardz, the appears RTX 3080 Ti in about three to four weeks respectively Mid-April. About six weeks later the RTX 3070 Ti follow, so Ende Mai.
How expensive will the new Ti GPUs be?
Prices are not yet known, if the cards actually appear at all. However, the price situation of the models that have already been published indicates the direction and is as follows:

The EIA of the RTX 3070 Ti should therefore be around 600 euros, for the actual prices in stores and on Ebay, we expect costs in the range of 1,200 and 1,600 euros.
With a possible RTX 3080 Ti an RRP of almost four digits can be assumed; if you want to buy the card, you probably have to 2,000 to 2,400 Spend euros on it.

What about the availability?
According to previous information, Nvidia is planning to block the mining power for the new models in order to improve availability for players. However, this only lasted for a short time with the RTX 3060 and can probably also be bypassed with a simple HDMI dummy (via HardwareLuxx). It is also questionable whether this approach can even help with availability for gamers.
Since chip production should not be surprisingly much faster in the next few weeks, the bottom line is that the availability of the new models is as poor as that of the current cards.
