Yesterday it was confirmed that next week we will see the return of the NieR:Automata anime with its fourth episode and what better way to celebrate it than with the new cosplay of Rein. A few hours ago, the German model posted a new cosplay of 2b which shows a new version resembling an officer or soldier, something fans of NieR: Automata maybe they haven’t seen it before.
This month marks six years since the launch of the NieR: Automata video game and during all this time we haven’t stopped seeing cosplays of its protagonists, especially 2B in several versions. With the recent anime premiere, we have seen a new wave of cosplays and undoubtedly the original cosplay that Rena just presented can be considered one of the best.
Just five days ago, Rena introduced us to her new 2B cosplay with a post where she said she was “2B on duty”, with a Uwowo cosplay costume and Pinky Paradise glasses that follow the original design of DISH, a talented illustrator who specializes in fan-service. Rena is an extremely talented German model and cosplayer who has presented us with dozens of cosplays in the almost four years she has been active on social media. We first saw Rena cosplay 2B in November 2021, when she showed off a costume that followed her look in the NieR: Automata video game. However, last December, we saw Rena in her first original 2B cosplays, starting with the Christmas-themed ones.
The 2B on Duty cosplay Rena showcased this week is the second original version of the character she’s featured, but hopefully it’s not the last since it turned out excellent and she only featured just a few pictures.
