If the AAA releases of 2023 have anything in common at the time of this writing, it’s the poor output performance of most of them. Recent examples are Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Hogwarts Legacy, which received a lot of criticism from gamers for the PC versions, and more recently Redfall, which barely hit 30 FPS when played on an Xbox Series X in open world sections.

Redfall’s issues go beyond performance, but its rocky launch has more than one Starfield gamer worried. The future big version of Bethesda there Xboxwhich has suffered multiple delays, will (hopefully) see the light of day in September, but the disappointment of Redfall has understandably made many leery of what will happen when the title releases.

It may be buggy, as many Bethesda games are at launch, but most people expect it to run at least well in terms of performance, even if the occasional NPC gets stuck on a wall.

Do you think Starfield will live up to the hype?
