Razer recently unveiled its collaboration with Retrosuperfuture, an Italian eyewear-focused brand. The collaboration resulted in Razer’s first pair of sunglasses, which turn out to be surprisingly boring.

As our friends at PC Gamer pointed out, there’s no RGB lighting on the sunglasses, although there’s a chunky strip on top that would be perfect for shooting multi-colored lights. Also, there’s hardly any indication that it’s a pair of Razer sunglasses, and that can only be discovered by looking at the sides, where the company has placed a small green logo.

This is all pretty disappointing, especially coming from the company that brought us the cyberpunk-looking Zephyr face masks. We’re not saying they were cutting edge, but at least they looked the part. Additionally, the Razer Sunglasses cost 239 euros, so we would have expected something more.
