Sony’s Nixxes software may be planning to create Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart its next PlayStation PC port. A new job description for the developer, known for successfully bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales to PC, hints that he’s looking for an engineer with a tech background essential for the latest Ratchet & Clank. from Insomniac. . game.

This Ratchet & Clank Rumor Is Based On A Deduction

A new job posting for a UX/UI engineer at Nixxes, as found by a user on GamingLeaksAndRumours Reddit, wants potential candidates to have “coherent middleware experience.” This refers to Coherent Labs, which describes itself as the creator of the “world’s only professional gaming UI middleware”.

One of the games that Coherent Labs offers on its official site is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, along with Control: Ultimate Edition, PUBG, Minecraft, and many more. Putting these two pieces of information together, it’s reasonable to believe that Rift Apart is Nixxes’ next PlayStation PC port.

Of course, that’s just a rumor, so as always, we’d advise taking it with a grain of salt, even though the pieces together make a lot of sense.

Nixxes Software was also part of another rumor suggesting that the PC port of Bloodborne had apparently been canceled after Virtuos spoiled the PC port for Horizon. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart introduced free DLC in November 2022 to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary.
