We have seen Microsoft distribute a group 10-year agreements to guarantee Activision Blizzard games (and in particular Obligation) on a variety of platforms in the future, so unsurprisingly a lot of memes are popping up!

One such meme caught the eye of Xbox boss Phil Spencer earlier this week when he humorously responded to a suggestion that Call of Duty was “coming to a calculator near you”:

In addition to Nintendo, Nvidia, and Valve, Microsoft also announced plans to offer games to cloud service providers Boosteroid and Ubitus upon acquisition, and more deals appear to be on the way.

Of course, the big hurdle right now is Sony, and it seems unlikely that the company will take on a 10-year contract on its own. However, it will be up to the CMA, the FTC and the European Commission whether or not to accept the acquisition.
