Bringing the fire to Season 8 Year 1, Rainbow Six Siege’s new Operator Brava hails from the heartland of Brazil and uses her hacking skills to turn the enemy team against her in Ubisoft’s FPS game . Sounds fun, right? Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about the latest addition to the Rainbow Six Siege team.

Brava is the newest member of Viperstrike, an elite team of technical support experts led by the ruthless Japanese operator Hibana. The Brazilian queen of technology pilots a small tank-like drone called the “Kludge” (actually, an anti-drone rifle) that has the ability to hack into enemy utility.

Specifically targeting electrical devices, the drone can either destroy them remotely by overheating them, or turn them against their creators, using them to benefit Brava’s team.

It also brings two primary weapons to the table in the form of the PARA-308 and CAMRS. The former is a high damage AR that sacrifices fire rate for power, while the latter is a perfect DMR for lining up your sights. As for the secondaries, the Super Shorty is a high damage sawn off shotgun and the USP40 is the perfect quick action pistol.

These options will allow you to really play Brava in different ways. Your weapons are backed up by Claymores and Smoke Grenades, with the former being extremely important for protection considering how much time you’ll be spending with your drones.

She will also be a three-speed operator, making her the perfect racer when paired with the PARA-308 and Super Shorty, but that’s a high-risk option considering she only has 100 HP . Instead, it’s probably worth considering fighting from afar and using your speed to help tank operators.

To top it off, did I mention he also has a Capybara badge on his uniform? sold yet? Am.

As someone who likes to play trick spoilers (Lesion in particular), Brava is right up my alley. Although my time during the hands-on preview was pretty dismal (turns out I’m not as good at Siege as I used to be!), it’s a lot of fun to play and really brings a new level of usefulness to the team. Combining it with IQ is awesome (literally), and I can’t wait to see what happens when it hits live servers.

In the meantime, it’s worth checking out other multiplayer games to test your aim against unlucky enemies, or other war games to get into the spirit of R6.
