Five months after the broadcast of its last edition of State of Play, Sony will return in early 2023 for a new edition with a very attractive program.

Again, Jeff Grubb was right. We told you about it last week in a dedicated article, according to information shared by the GamesBeat journalist, it was possible that Sony would speak this month with a new edition of his State of Play. And we wouldn’t have had to wait long for confirmation, since now it’s official, in fact a conference will be held This week.

A new state of affairs is coming

After Microsoft and its Developer_Direct in January, then Nintendo and its Nintendo Direct at the beginning of the month, it will therefore be PlayStation’s turn to talk about a new State of Play this Thursday, February 23 at 10 p.m. (French time). If for the moment the duration of the event has not been specified, the Japanese publisher has revealed that we will find there new third party game images “very early” on PS4 and PS5, as well as a first look at five PS VR2 games arriving in 2023.

Finally, the icing on the cake, we will have the right to a 15-minute gameplay presentation for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. As a reminder, the new game from the creators of Batman Arkham will arrive on May 26 and remains for the moment, despite its many presentations, still very mysterious in many respects. But let’s bet that we will finally know more at the end of this conference which, as usual, can be seen live on Twitch and YouTube.
