Today publisher Humble Games and developer Adam Kareem announced a final release date for DeLTA Protodroid. The 3D action platformer will be released on April 27, 2023.
Protodroid DeLTA was originally announced for Switch in 2020. It was originally planned for the following year, but more development time was needed.

In a vibrant vision of Earth’s future, world-renowned roboticist Dr. Shelton has created one of the first protodroids, a hyper-advanced android called DeLTA with near-human levels of intelligence. DeLTA was created to “be the change” by showing the world the promise of what AI can be, so it sets out to show a skeptical world that it is more than “just a robot”.
However, when a gang of Vypers attack Shelton’s lab, the doctor is forced to activate DeLTA’s combat subroutines and upgrade it with weapon systems for self-defense. After DeLTA successfully fends off the attackers, Dr. Shelton sets DeLTA on a new path: to defend the region against the growing threat of Vyper, earn the trust and affection of the city, and show the world the true promise of what AI can become.
