Creatures Inc.one of the co-owners of the Pokémon brand (along with nintendo there Usual gamewhich together form The Pokemon Company), seems to bring about significant changes at the management level. As detailed by the owner of Serebii.net, Joe Merrickand what was taken over by VGC, the Japanese company will be looking for a new CEO and a new executive vice president.

The report details that the current CEO, Tsunekazu Ishiharawill be leaving his position at Creatures Inc, but will still be president of The Pokémon Company, which means we can likely continue to see Ishihara host Pokémon Presents in the future.

On the other hand, the Executive Vice President Hirokazu Tanaka it is also leaving Creatures Inc., although it has not been mentioned if it will continue to be associated with the Pokémon brand. This resignation could well be due to a question of age, since Tanaka is already 65 years old, the usual retirement age in Japan.

What we know for sure is that Yuji Kitano will assume Ishihara’s responsibilities as CEO of Creatures Inc. and Tomotaka Komura will be the new Executive Vice President. We’ll see if this new blood brings a new vision for the future of the Pokémon brand.
