Those not necessarily happy after yesterday’s state of affairs may be pleased with the latest reports that Sony is planning an event on a much larger scale. To this information came well-known industry journalist Jeff Grubb, who, as a reminder, some time ago graced us with unofficial and ultimately confirmed news about yesterday’s state of play.

During the recent episode of the Game Mess Decides podcast, Grubb has revealed that the upcoming PlayStation Showcase will be “huge” and will be used to kick off the next phase of PlayStation 5 development.. According to the information provided by the journalist, the event will see the announcement of a series of new games developed for the current generation console.

Interestingly, the event was supposed to take place last fall, but due to a lack of preparation from the developers, it was decided to move the event around the June E3 show.

“They’re saving the good stuff for PlayStation Showcase, which will take place before E3.. The event was supposed to take place last fall, but they kept moving it because the developers weren’t ready. Now that they are, Sony should have a great showcase to show off the next phase of the PlayStation 5.Grubb said.

Although the reporter’s reports are mostly true, it should be remembered that the above information has not been officially confirmed by Sony representatives. Therefore, we have no choice but to be patient and wait for the eventual PlayStation Showcase announcement.
