Exclusive games

PlayStation is reportedly set to lose one of its biggest exclusive games this year. Last year was a big year for PS4 exclusive games. For example, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II and Persona 5 Royal appeared last year.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake was also released as a PS4 exclusive last year. In 2021 it should finally appear for the PS5 and no longer be an exclusive title for the PlayStation, as it is said to be released for the PC this year.

Final Fantasy VII Remake PS5- und PC-Version

The report comes from Reset Era user JuanLatino and Insider KatharsisT, who doesn’t reveal much but claims that Square Enix will announce that the game will hit the PS5 sometime this year. In addition, the PS5 version is to be announced together with the PC version.

This may come as a surprise to some, but rumors and leaks from the past have indicated not only that the acclaimed RPG will hit PC, but the Xbox consoles too. That being said, KatharsisT has not mentioned anything about the release of the Xbox version at the moment.

Authenticity of the rumor

Unfortunately, this is where the details end and it should be remembered that anything disclosed here is unofficial and should therefore be viewed with caution. Although the source is trusted by many, there have been cases where they have been mistaken.

As you may recall, last year PC code was found in the game’s demo files while one of the game’s trailers contained footage of PC gameplay. There might be nothing to it, but combined with this leak, that’s enough evidence to suggest that there is something to it.

Square Enix has not yet commented on the Final Fantasy VII Remake Leak.
