Sony revealed a Free Online Multiplayer Weekend on PlayStation for February 18 and 19 which will not require a PS Plus subscription. This is part of the PlayStation Festival of Play event, which includes a trial of God of War Ragnarok game starting today for PS Premium/Deluxe members, new PS Stars collectibles and a double PS Plus discount clever for all PS Plus subscribers.

PlayStation tournaments will be free at the same time

Those with a PlayStation Stars subscription, which is also free, can earn another digital collectible just for taking part in this event. You can check the “PlayStation Stars: Free Online Multiplayer is Live” campaign in the PS Stars app for more information.

This promotion coincides with the same weekend’s PlayStation tournaments, which will also not require a PS Plus subscription. The list of games introduced during this period includes NBA 2K23, FIFA 23, and Guilty Gear Strive.

PS5 and PS4 players can participate in these tournaments, although they must be at least 16 years old and reside in an eligible country. The first prize for winning one of these special tournaments is a PS Plus voucher for 3 months.

You can also enter a contest for a chance to win a Sony Bravia XR OLED TV and other Sony devices by answering various PlayStation Plus questions on the official website. For participating countries, the contest ends on February 24 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
