Shadow Fallen Kitfox groom’s dungeon on PS5 on Valentine’s Day 2023. He announced that the roguelike with dating sim elements is available immediately on the console. It costs $19.99. This port will also be an updated version of the game that includes the free Secret Weapons expansion.
groom’s dungeon takes place in a world where some people have the ability to weaponize themselves. The player visits a cousin after having a bad time. There, they encounter many of these people (and animals, in Pocket the Cat’s case). Visual novel segments allow you to get to know them better and exchange gifts. However, you also build relationships by heading to various randomly generated dungeons around the city. While doing so, you will also learn more about a plot where armed people are ambushed and thrown into dungeons in their weapon form.
The game started life as a Kickstarter project. Kitfox managed to raise CA$272,280 from 6,991 backers. Among his lofty goals were gunslinger/love interests Leah the Hammer and Owen the Axe. Although both were not present in the game at launch, they were later added to existing platforms as free DLC in August 2022.
groom’s dungeon is available immediately on the PS5. It is also available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
