Plaion, a well-known publisher and editor video games, announces an agreement with Straight4 Studios for the publishing and development of a new racing simulation title which has not yet been announced. Development will be done by the Slightly Mad Studios team along with another team of industry veterans.
You must remember that Straight4 Studios has a long list of titles under their belt like Need for Speed: Shift, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends, Shift 2: Unleashed, and the GTR and Project CARS series. From the little information we have about it, the only thing we know about this new title is that it will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox.
Ian Bell, CEO of Straight4 Studios, comments: “Our vision for this new game is a racing sim for hardcore fans, with a commitment to giving the community the kind of simulation and modding tools they want.”
On the other hand, Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Plaion, assured that Plaion is always looking for new partners to work with and that Straight4 Studios has great potential, in addition to having an extensive program of titles. Finally, he said that fans of racing simulators should pay close attention to this new driving title.
