The night of the first Nintendo Direct caught us off guard starting with a short preview of Pikmin 4. In the short preview, we got to see how controlling the Pikmin works while we control a character named collin (although we thought it was Brittany) which is followed by a team of Red, Yellow and Blue Pikmin Pikmin, as well as the introduction of a new ice pikmin.
The fact that it was introduced before Shinya Takahashi’s greetings already hinted that it would be a release in the second half of the year, but at the end of the spot they revealed the final date, it will be the July 21, 2023.
