Many of the new releases these days require beastly PCs to run at Ultra quality and get 60fps. However, Sons of the Forest recently revealed its specs on PC, along with what you’ll need to play when the game releases. February 23and they don’t seem too demanding.
The minimum system requirements for Sons of the Forest are an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3300X processor, 12GB of RAM, and a 3GB Nvidia GeForce 1060 or 4GB AMD Radeon RX 570.
For the recommended settings, you’ll need a more powerful rig, but again, we don’t see the need for the more expensive components on the market. As a processor, Sons of the Forest calls an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X. You’ll also need 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 1080Ti or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT.
For either configuration, you’ll need 20GB of SSD or HDD space, although the former is preferable. While some people can’t play with these specs, they’re much less demanding than other titles we’ve seen recently.
