If you’ve ever wanted to date one of Overwatch 2’s characters, you’re in luck because Valentine’s Day Loverwatch, Overwatch’s free dating sim, is finally here, letting you fall in love with Mercy or Genji. and earn rewards in FPS Game. Blizzard’s new experience may not be in keeping with the lore of the Overwatch 2 universe, but it’s delightfully earth-shattering.
Even though I always read it as Grover-watch instead of Lover-watch, Overwatch 2 dating sim is a short but sweet treat. As part of Overwatch 2 Season 3, the Loverwatch dating sim is a nice limited-time bonus for fans of the series that really delivers. Yes, it’s pretty awkward and makes fun of its own mistakes, but that’s what makes it funny.
Overwatch 2 dating sim is available from February 13 to 28, and the non-canonical text-based gameplay will reward you with a Play Of The Game-themed highlight in the multiplayer game if you find the secret ending. Since it only lasts half an hour, it’s at least worth trying out these bonuses.
If, like me, you find Overwatch 2 lore to be the most interesting part of the game, this is absolutely the spin-off for you. Even though it’s not canon (Hanzo is wearing a Cupid skin), it does dive a bit into Overwatch 2 characters, and it’s fun to see that twist on them.
Basically that’s why I’m here, and that’s the kind of meta and shame that’s right up my street. It’s a tough line to walk between the not-so-clever takes on the Overwatch 2 store and the genuinely fun and inventive dialogue, but it’s worth a try – it’s a free game, after all.
