Since The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition released on March 7, ratings and reviews on Steam have plummeted, due to poor performance on PC, even with gear that far exceeds the recommended requirements.
In response to the criticism, an Obsidian employee known as ObsidianChris on Reddit, he posted a message apologizing to fans. “I understand how frustrating this can be, and I assure you that the Private Division team is working to release a fix as soon as possible,” the post reads.
“If you encounter any other issues while playing the game, please feel free to submit a support ticket to Private Division. They are dedicated support for The Outer Worlds, and we do our best to pass on any information, so that solutions can be found as soon as possible.”
There’s no guarantee that The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition bugs will be fixed, but hopefully a patch or two will arrive soon so new players can enjoy the game experience.
