time has placed A play as one of anime’s greats, and as the manga goes through the first arc of its final act, all eyes are on the anime as it works on the climax of its Wano Country saga .

So far, the arc has been filled with awesome animations and even better actors, but even hits like One Piece aren’t immune to scheduling issues, that’s why soon anime will be forced to take an extended break.

Yes, that’s right, the One Piece anime will be on an extended break at the end of this month, and it will even last until March. This update comes from the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jumpwhere One Piece released a schedule addendum, where it turns out that the series will be on hiatus between February 26 and March 19, and this hiatus is a forced break due to schedule changes.

Indeed, Japan will be hosting several marathons this spring and they will be televised throughout Japan, and it just so happens that the events will be reduced when One Piece is generally airing, so Toei-Animation will not be able to show new episodes as planned.

Of course, this update disappointed many fans, but the hiatus will soon be over. One Piece will miss the three-episode release, but the break will give the anime team some time to get ahead of schedule. This can only be a good thing as One Piece prepares to tackle the most intense sequences of the Wano saga to date.

From Kaido against Luffy and beyond, this epic saga has so much more to offer its fans, and this break from One Piece should help prepare the team for more adventures.
