Universal Parks and Resorts has officially confirmed that another location will be built in the future for Super Nintendo World. This was revealed shortly after the grand opening of the Super Nintendo World site in Hollywood, which finally opened after a few years of construction.

Although it was previously opened for technical trials, the theme park is now officially open to the public.

This theme park was first announced in 2015, with the first location being Universal Studios Japan. It opened in 2021, with more locations to follow.

It is heavily focused on Nintendo’s Mario franchise and features many sets and images from it. The Hollywood location is no different, as it has plenty of franchise-themed attractions like a Mario Kart race, Toad Cafe, and other things to find.

Shortly after the official opening of Super Nintendo World Hollywood, Universal Parks and Resorts President and CEO Mark Woodbury stepped out at its Grand Opening Ceremony to announce a new location.

After openings in Japan and Hollywood, the third location will be in Orlando, Florida. This announcement drew cheers from the crowd, with Woodbury also joking that it was one of the “worst-kept secrets in history”, which also caused the audience to laugh.
