It looks like the RTX 4060 Ti has something in common with the Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti, as the leaked specs suggest the GPU has the same base clock speed. Supposedly, the custom variants will also have a boost clock which is only 75 MHz lower than its sibling, the overclocked variants can actually match its maximum speeds.

I don’t mean to sound like a broken record, but we’re still waiting for a cheaper mid-range Nvidia RTX GPU to enter the race for the best graphics cards. Our Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti review hails the gaming PC giant’s latest release, its price means it’s a 70-series card in name alone. Naturally, that leaves us eagerly awaiting the RTX 4070 release date announcement, but the latest rumors actually revolve around the RTX 4060 Ti.

According to TechPowerUp GPU Database Publisher, T4C Fantasy, the RTX 4070 Ti can be equipped with base clock speeds of 2310 MHz, just like the RTX 4070 Ti. The boost clock of the 60-series card is a bit short, but “premium” overclocked cards could hit 2685 MHz. Of course, previous RTX 4070 whispers hint at the 70-series card having a base clock of 1920 MHz, which means it’s potentially a bit slower than its 4060 Ti counterpart.

The leaker also says that the Ti variant will use an AD106 GPU, unlike the non-Ti variant which would use an AD107 chip. That should mean it will feature 4,352 CUDA cores, while the RTX 4060 can offer 3,072.

As always, we recommend taking any GeForce RTX graphics card rumors with a grain of salt. However, there’s a chance the RTX 4070 will launch in April, and a Gigabyte leak suggests the RTX 4060 is on the cards. So it would make a lot of sense for a Ti model to be in the works as well, especially given Nvidia’s product practices lately.
