No Man’s Sky Update Now Live On Switch (Version 4.12), Patch Notes

Hello Games released another update for No Man’s Sky, and the game is now at version 4.12. This follows last week’s “Fractal” patch which you can read about here.

Fixed various bug fixes related to the previous update. Other improvements are also included.

The full patch notes for the No Man’s Sky version 4.12 update are as follows:

  • Fixed an issue that caused foundations built next to certain building types to be buried in the ground.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented changing the color of portable base building items built outside of a base.
  • Fixed an issue that caused ship cockpit displays to flicker.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented interactivity of the Galactic Trading Floor on Freighters.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed setting the sensitivity of the cursor or stick to 0, which prevented the cursor from being used.
  • Fixed a bug that caused arable plants to appear in the wrong visual state.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented ByteBeat recordings from recording correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the system language selection from working correctly.
  • Fixed various issues that could cause stuttering.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some metadata used by mods to be removed.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent discoveries from displaying.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent shipment data from downloading correctly.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the incorrect Discovery count to be reported for Discovery-based Expedition Milestones.
  • Fixed various network connectivity issues.
  • Fixed a crash related to procedural generation of derelict freighter.
  • Fixed various rendering-related crashes.
  • Fixed various multiplayer-related crashes.
  • Fixed a rare crash related to planet rendering.
