In a time when we’ve only heard no-shows and then cancellations, as was the case with E3 2023, we finally have good news for another of the important summer event dates in video games.
Gamescom just confirmed that nintendo will be present at the Cologne Fair in person. The company had been absent from the last meetings, both face-to-face and digital (it had not come since 2018), but it seems that this year it has good reasons to set up its stand.
Logically, this could be a help to increase their releases for the second half, once they the Terremoto from Tears of the Kingdom spent. But there are those who point out that the German show would be the perfect setting to make such a momentous announcement as the successor to the Nintendo Switch.
We will have to wait for the next August 23 to find out, when Gamescom 2023 kicks off.
