Gods Unchained is gearing up to release their final set, known as Band of the Wolf. Available for only four weeks and limited in the number of packs available, Band of the Wolf introduces thirty-eight new cads to the game, along with a new ability and a new “crafting” system.
The next card game for Gods Unchained arrives at the end of March. Band of the Wolf brings thirty-eight new cards to this fantastic TCG. It also adds a crafting system and a new card ability called Ally.
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to see any details about the cards or the new ability yet. But we have quite a bit of information about the sale and other associated rewards!
Band of the Wolf Sale Information
Band of the Wolf packs go on sale March 30 (4pm PT) and will be available until April 27 (also 4pm PST) or while supplies last. Whatever comes first.
The Band of the Wolf sale has four different types of packs, ranging from $2 for a two-card “Craft Pack” to $210 for a “Super Shiny Pack,” which contains five cards, three of which are guaranteed. epic. or Legendary. First-time buyers benefit from a discount on packages during this sale. The discount starts at 10% and decreases until $600,000 of packages are sold, at which point everyone must pay the retail price.
Band of the Wolf is a limited edition set, with a total of 223,500 packs for sale (although only 500 Super Shiny packs will be available) and another 125,100 packs reserved for distribution during weekend ranking events and other gifts and promotions. Any unsold packages at the end of the sale will be retained by the GU team for future promotions.

Band of the Wolf introduces a new “creation system”, which really seems unnecessarily complex. This system encourages players to use Forge to combine cards at a higher level of brilliance. Personally, I hate Gods Unchained Forge’s interface because it requires a carpal tunnel-inducing amount of clicks (to use: Apparently GU has reduced the number of clicks required to forge since the last time I tried it, but it’s still a somewhat tedious process). But for those willing to push through the pain, crafting a Diamond Common or Gold Rare card, Band of the Wolf, will grant you an Epic Meteorite tier card. Forging a Shadow Epic card results in a reward of a Legendary Meteorite.
Of course, players have the option to skip all that work and just buy more expensive packs that come with guaranteed epic cards. However, this crafting system is the SOLO way for players to acquire the six realm-specific legendary cards. And if you want to get a Shiny version of these legendaries, you’ll need to craft multiple copies. Good time!

More Band of the Wolf Rewards
And just like his last two sales, this one includes Trinket rewards. Those who obtain the two neutral legendary cards from this set, Hortuk, Fallen Commander and Eiko, Undaunted Duelist, will receive a Raneko Siege Board. Additionally, if all players play together in 250,000 matches with at least one Band of the Wolf card in their deck, all participants will receive a War Banner Trinket.
Rewards for Weekend Ranked Events will also be bolstered by Band of the Wolf packs. Anyone who earns a Rare Mortal Judgment Pack during the Ranked Weekend during the sale will also receive three Crafting Packs. Those who win Epic MJ Packs will receive five crafting packs, and Legendary winners will receive 10 crafting packs plus two boosters! Gods Unchained will also be handing out Creation Packs to everyone who plays a match on launch day, and additional Bonus Packs to random players who use its Creation System during the sale.
What is Gods Unchained?
Gods Unchained is a free collectible card game. Built on the Ethereum blockchain, Gods Unchained uses the Immutable X layer 2 solution for gasless trading. Players retain full ownership of their cards. Players can earn “Core” digital cards by playing the game. When a player has two identical Core cards, they can turn them into a blockchain-based card. This card is then negotiable on the markets.
Gods Unchained offers various play and earning opportunities. Players earn cards as active players, earn packs while participating in weekend tournaments, and earn GODS tokens by playing daily.
With several expansions under its belt, Gods Unchained offers a wide variety of cards for different playstyles. Gods Unchained currently sells packs for Mortal Judgment. Players can buy and open packs on the official website. Secondary sales are available on the Immutable X market and Token Trove.
