The most recent Hogwarts Legacy The update brought a hidden change that is so important that it deserves its own article. As confirmed by Avalanche Software, the patch is finally shutting down Ignatia Wildsmith…one way or another.
Hogwarts Legacy update reduces frequency of boring and repetitive lines
Community Manager Chandler Wood said the change, which was not included in the official patch notes, reduced the frequency of Ignatia Wildsmith lines, much to the delight of players.
The discourse surrounding Hogwarts Legacy on social media and forums like Reddit isn’t complete without players complaining about the NPC character, who constantly reminds fans that she invented Floo Powder. “You can’t imagine how troublesome traveling was before I invented Floo Powder,” is one of the phrases he keeps repeating if players make the mistake of fast traveling.
I just confirmed an additional feature in this patch that didn’t appear in the patch notes:
-Reduced the frequency of Ignatia Wildsmith’s lines (a significant reduction), so traveling is definitely more convenient with Floo Dust, you won’t have to listen to it constantly.

I wouldn’t mind having an option to mute it completely, but that will do. This may be a feature Avalanche could consider for the Hogwarts Legacy DLC, if it ever happens, or if the inevitable Warner Bros. already teasing.
