Luckily, it looks like this lobby error notice, also known as error code 2901, has an easy fix on PlayStation consoles at least.

How to fix “Lobby not found” error for MW2 and Warzone 2

Several users on Twitter and Reddit reporting this issue for PS5 and PS4 say that restarting the console and/or your internet router will fix the error. A user says that the modem, router, and console need to be restarted to get Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 working properly again.

This solution might also fix the “Travis Rilea” error that also plagues the game and appears when online connection to servers fails. Hopefully, you won’t need to uninstall and reinstall MW2 or Warzone 2. Hopefully Activision, Infinity Ward, and Raven Software will jump in and fix these issues soon.

This isn’t the first time Modern Warfare 2 has had issues on console. At launch, the game crashed and lagged on PS5 and PS4, with some users experiencing multiple crashes within an hour. In January, it was revealed that Warzone 2’s player count was dropping “at a higher rate than usual”.
