Despite the suggested depth and variety of tactics players can use to their advantage, reporters noted a fairly high level of chaos that characterizes most team matchups. Things are also not helped by limited means of communication between team members. The lack of in-game chat and a primitive marking system make coordination between randomly selected players quite difficult.

As the developers have assured, Minecraft Legends will be expanded with additional content after release. One of the attractions is completing special challenges in the Lost Legends & Myths mode..
