Earlier this week, we gave you our predictions for when we thought Xbox Spring Sale 2023 might start, and now Microsoft has confirmed we’re right: the official start date is April 7, 2023.
While we don’t know too many details just yet, Microsoft has reached out to us here at Pure Xbox to give us a look at some offerings across the Microsoft Store and Xbox Store lineup. Here is an overview:

- Save up to $500 on select Surface Pro 8. Offer ends April 30.

- Save up to $300 on select Surface Laptop 5s. Offer ends April 16.

FROM APRIL 7:
- Save up to 60% on select digital games for PC and Xbox, including Sonic Frontiers, Jurassic World Evolution 2 there Forza horizon 5. Offer ends April 20.
- Save up to 50% on select movies and TV shows, including Harry Potter: The Complete 8 – Film Collection and Deadpool 2 – Movie Collection. Offer ends April 20.
- Save up to 50% on Windows apps, including Dolby Access and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023. Offer ends April 20.
FROM APRIL 9:
- Save up to $300 on select Surface Pro 9. Offer ends April 23.
As you can see, we don’t know much about the gaming side other than sound borders, jurassic world evolution 2 there forza horizon 5, but at least we know that the digital sale will end on April 20, so we will have about two weeks to take advantage of it. We expect around 500 sets to be reduced.
It should also be noted that some of the figures mentioned are probably incorrect. We usually get discounts of up to 90% on these sales instead of the 60% listed, and discounts on Xbox controllers now available in the Microsoft Store save up to $20 instead of $10 $ as shown.
