World Update 3 is available for download for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 – Patch Notes

The developers of Asobo Studio have launched the update after several postponements: The patch adds new details for Great Britain and Ireland. In a current blog entry, the developers present the patch notes – and with them the individual changes and innovations.

The highlights undoubtedly include new content. The update includes, for example, 70 more attractions, five additional airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land’s End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries), two new landing challenges and photogrammetry data for five more cities (London, Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol ).

In addition to the new content, World Update 3 also provides individual optimizations and bug fixes, as can be seen in the patch notes for update 1.13.16.0.

The developers have removed individual causes of crashes from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

In addition, the developers address individual problems with water surfaces. Asobo Studio has also worked hard in the VR area: From now on it should no longer block interactions when the toolbar is open.

In addition, the cursor should no longer jump around when you navigate through the options in the cockpit. World Update 3 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is rounded off by optimizations for aircraft, navigation and Simconnect.

You can read the full patch notes on the developer’s website. By the way, the fourth world update is scheduled for the end of March. This should bring up new details for France and the Benelux countries.
