Although we received recent confirmation that Xbox is holding its big summer showcase during E3 week in June, we now know that the company I will not do it will be attending this year’s physical convention in Los Angeles.

As part of a new corporate statement provided to IGN, Xbox says it “will not be at the E3 show” in 2023. Instead, the platform holder says that it “will be streaming our event as part of E3 Digital”. , featuring the Xbox Games Showcase will take place on June 11, the day E3 kicks off.

In January, the outlet reported that it would, but now we have an official statement from Microsoft about it. At the time, it was suggested that none of the big three console makers would attend in person, which Nintendo and Microsoft have now confirmed.

That just leaves Sony then, and in recent years the PlayStation owner probably won’t be there in person either. Even so, we still have a big confirmed E3-style live stream from the Xbox side, so at least we at home can enjoy a typical Microsoft summer showcase!
