The Metal Gear Solid collection comprising the first three games in the series could well be available soon if we believe a persistent rumor.

We’ve been hearing various rumors about the Metal Gear Solid series for months. If it is obvious that we will never be entitled to an MGS 6, Hideo Kojima will no longer be at Konami, rumors are circulating about a license renewal, either in the form of a PC port or a new version from A to Z. Thus, for a few months, the noises of corridor no longer evoke a remake of Metal Gear Solid first of the name, but also of the third. Now, various sources seem to indicate that the first installments of the license could arrive on PC via Steam.

Is the Metal Gear collection soon available on PC?

Ups Leaks, a source from the Gameranx site was able to make a tweet that sparked the rumours: “ Classic games from the Metal Gear Solid series are coming to Steam this year. I’ve had plenty of signs that it’s in the works, but I have no idea what games and versions will be released. knew to indicate As a reminder, a collection of Metal Gear Solid HD was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 more than 10 years ago. The latter notably included Metal Gear 1 and 2, but also Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Substance, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Subsistence, as well as Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker.

It remains to be seen whether the games offered by Konami on Steam will also take the form of such a collection, or whether the games will be sold separately. Also, will we be entitled to the PSX version of MGS 1, or to the Twin Snakes version, released later on Gamecube and much more visually pleasing? We will have to wait to find out more!
