Metal Gear Solid 5’s Quiet will go down in history as one of the coolest female tracks out there. Quiet model and voice actor Joosten made history with this performance, and she’s looking to do the same in new soulful RPG Wanted: Dead, but that doesn’t mean she forgot about her estate. .
In fact, it’s the opposite. In a new trailer for Soleil’s cyberpunk extravaganza, Joosten, or Vivienne as she’s known to the world, Wanted: Dead, dives into some details about her rather mixed past.
“My name is Vivienne Niemantsverdriet,” she says (with relative ease; impressive). “And if you think you recognized me from somewhere, it’s because you do.” The cheeky little joke is accompanied by an image of the character wearing winter sports gear lining up a shot and, of course, he’s wielding a particularly mean sniper rifle.
It’s Wanted: Dead, though, and she goes on to say that players will probably recognize her because “I won the Olympics; several disciplines. I’m not going to lie, this one did a good job for me Stefanie.
When I spoke to Joosten at Gamescom last year, she was adamant that she wanted to put Quiet to rest and move on to what she describes as the “polar opposite” of sniper. Since Vivienne is a gossipy chef and internet personality, I’d say she’s far from the silent killer.
As a big fan of his work, I want to meet Vivienne in the game. As he explains in the video, the character goes from gold medalist to gastronomic genius, before being inducted into the elite team of Hong Kong zombie hunters. It’s definitely a lot of different things for a character, which concerns me because it’s just toobut if anyone can do it, I think it’s Joosten.
