Konami and Platinum Games collided The Rise of Metal Gear 2 and the Metal Gear Rising remaster/remake awaits Revengeance’s 10th anniversary. After several “teases” and rumors, fans got new artwork for him.

No Metal Gear Rising 2 but the commemorative art looks good

Director Kenji Saito wrote a letter to fans thanking them for their support over the past decade. Saito took note of all the Armstrong and Sam memes, saying he finds it “incredible” that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is still being discussed nearly ten years after its release.

Platinum Games also revealed that they have seen an increase in the number of gamers and streamers playing the game, thanks to the talk surrounding it.

“I still believe that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance offers an experience like no other, even a decade after its release!” Saito added. “I look forward to creating many more memories with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the years to come!”
