Firaxis has just unveiled its update for February 2021 for Civilization VI. This will allow players to discover a new mode called Clan Barbarian, as well as the leader group selector.
This update will arrive on February 25th and will therefore provide players with a new way to play Civilization VI.
Extending the gameplay possibilities offered by the Barbarians, the Barbarian Clan mode introduces six groups into play, all with their own specificities. Each turn, the clans progress towards the City-State, and it will be up to the players to let them or to stop them.
Destroying a clan will wipe it off the map, but it will also be possible to loot resources, offer them bribes, or buy their co-op.
For its part, the Leader Group Selector will allow players to customize the group of leaders they want to use in the game. Finally, Firaxis indicates that several balances will be made, in particular on air units and air combat. Some natural wonders have also been rebalanced and the descriptive text clarified.
