While 2023 is full of highly anticipated AAA releases, luckily we’re also seeing plenty of indie games with some very exciting offerings that give us something new to play all the time. Today a new proposal is released in the genre of third-person shooters with Scars abovedeveloped by Mad Head Games and published by Prime Matter.
Starting today, sci-fi shooter Scars Above can be purchased on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. This title promises to take us on an unforgettable journey through space in a story starring Dr. Kate Ward, who is kidnapped and lost in an alien world at the start of the plot.
In Scars Above we must use the abilities of Dr. Ward to survive, using science and the resources that the planet offers. In the story of this game, we see an invasion of earth when an alien structure called The Slaughterhouse arrives, which traps the scientists who have been called in to investigate it. Scars Above promises to be a challenging adventure and it’s arrived 15% off on Steam, so if you’re playing on PC, take advantage and get it within the first week of release. Mad Head Games has also announced that it has made a musical collaboration with youtuber The Dooo, which can be heard on his channel.
