After weeks of problems, Ubisoft Massive has finally fixed the update system in The Division 2, allowing the developers to release the Season 11 patch.

Online shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 has finally received the Season 11 patch. This fixed a bug that prevented the developers from updating the game for the past few weeks.

  1. At the beginning of February, while trying to fix the localization of the game, the developers messed up the update system so badly that they lost the ability to release more patches.
  2. Because of this, the developers had to delay the release of Season 11 and fix the update system.
  3. Now all these issues have finally been resolved and the developers were able to resume development of the game.

What’s new in season 11?

Season 11 is titled Reign of Fire and expands the game with five additional goals for players to complete. There are also new sets of gear, weapons, and cosmetic items.

The developers have also made improvements to four PvP modes, and the gameplay will be enhanced by various rewarding events and four leagues, within which we will reach new levels in various activities. To enjoy Season 11, you must own the Warlords of New York DLC.

The continued development of The Division 2 is critically important to fans of the series, as according to recent reports Ubisoft has no plans for a third installment. Spin-offs are in development in the form of Tom Clancy’s The Division: Heartland and the mobile Tom Clancy’s The Division: Resurgence, but these are items with far less ambition than the main installments.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 debuted in March 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PC version was initially only available on Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store, but in January this year the game finally made it its way to Steam.
