Sega has announced a real-world tie-in to the latest like a dragon/Yakuza Thu. California’s Shin-Sen-Gumi Restaurants will feature art and a special meal made from Like a dragon: Ishin. (It’s a nod to main character Ryoma Sakamoto joining the Shinsengumi in the game.) For two weeks, people will be able to take photos or get food inspired by the game. It all starts on February 21, 2023 This is also the official release date of the game.

Shin-Sen-Gumi is a ramen and udon restaurant, exactly the kind of Like a Dragon: Ishin themed meals that people will receive. It will be a samurai meal set with Hakata ramen, green tea, and chicken karaage or takoyaki. There will also be random roller coasters inspired by the game included with the order. The price was not mentioned. However, to participate, people will need to visit locations in Fountain Valley, Gardena, Irvine, Little Tokyo, Rosemead or Sawtelle. There will also be characters standing in place to take pictures, along with other artwork from the game.

As for the game, Like a Dragon: Ishin follows the steps of the series and also includes food. People can cure Ryoma by eating out. There will also be a cooking mini-game, in which Ryoma can take produce grown at his home farm and prepare different types of dishes.

Like a Dragon: Ishin It’s coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 21, 2023, the same day the Shin-Sen-Gumi restaurant collaboration begins in California.
