We have learned the details and the release date of Life by You, the next competitor of The Sims 4. A trailer has also been released for the occasion.

Two weeks ago, Paradox Interactive announced Life by You, another Sims competitor. At that time, we received a trailer, which didn’t reveal much. Now we have known the first details about the game. They show that the developers of Paradox Tectonic have learned a lesson from the development history of the sims 4 and won’t repeat the same mistakes. The information is accompanied by the first trailer of the game, available below.

The exact release date has already been announced. The title will debut in Early Access on September 12 this year, in Steam there epic games store.

Specific information about Life by You was shared in a 20-minute presentation by Rod Humble, Director of Paradox Tectonic. reveals that the title will be based by handles on the best solutions of The Sims 3. Of course, all mechanics will be modernized and further developed. With curiosity, content should not be limited by extensions.

  1. The Paradox Tectonic game will offer an open world without loading screens, which is largely editable. For example, plots can be moved around the map almost without limitation and placed anywhere.
  2. There will be the possibility of completely modifying the appearance of furniture and clothing, from the color wheel to the tools that allow us to determine what actions can be performed on an item.
  3. The character’s life will also be observable and controllable from a third-person perspective.. A somewhat similar feature (FPP view) also appeared in The Sims 4, however it is more limited in the latter.

At the same time, new ideas will not be lacking. Life by You will not feature made-up speech. Instead, conversations will take place in real languages and will be generated based on events taking place in the game. Interestingly, there will also be a dialogue editor.

Of course, as befits a paradoxical proposition, life for you there will be no shortage of mod support. The whole game should be prepared in such a way that interested people can not only add new elements, but also freely change the mechanics of the game.
